Programmers have no life ?

Why do people say that programmers have no life?

I don’t own it. It belongs to the respective creator.

If you got the meme, you’re pretty much close to what I am thinking.

You might have heard this somewhere if you are into programming and development and stuff like that. Chances are, you’ve heard it a lot or you might not have heard it yet, for which you’re going to get an explanation from my perspective, or you might have heard it but don’t exactly know what it actually is.

Speaking frankly, I like self-depreciating jokes when used properly, and so do many others in this world. And SDs, at least the ones that I know love these. I have seen people, and especially, social media influencers use this in their content to create a humor. So it basically and most of the time is used as a joke for fun.

This, I think, came from the fact that programming is mostly a time consuming task that is probably done solely, probably all the time, without a social interaction to another human being for quite a long time, probably like all the time when you’re doing it.

Another reason for this might be that programmers or developers have to spend a lot of time on debugging the code that they’ve written, or some others have written which, trust me, is not a happy or satisfying one to do AT ALL. Sometimes, fixes are easy but most of the times, you don’t actually get it even though it might be that you have just declared a variable with a different letter arrangement.

If you’ve got till this far THANK YOU from the bottom or the top or just anywhere from my brain. I’d definitely be happy if it made you laugh, or at least smile.

BTW, most of the software developers and programmers are having pretty chill life. Maybe not some but the others. You know what I mean? EXACTLY…
